In my paintings run the desire to express a mood or emotion in a simple setting using saturated colors. I choose simplicity as a counterbalance to our overwhelmingly complex world. The saturated colors symbolize living life to the fullest. I paint with oils, acrylics, and pixels. I paint from photographs and from my imagination.

Influences
I love Van Gogh's intensely emotional, textural canvases, so saturated with paint and color they all but stand up and shout out at you. I am also inspired by Michaelangelo's perfection, and Frida Kahlo's fearlessness in her art and life.
